Our last day.Went to Ali'i, whomping lefts and rights top to bottom & mean. SP took a good beating. We all came in and went to Pua'ena point, small fun waves.
Returned, packed up & said our goodbyes. Very sad. Debbie was crying and we all got a bit choked up. We'll be back.
As we drove out of our house and on to the Kam Hiway. Alligator's sent through a massive barrelling right-hander that had us going nuts. C'mon Gator's!
Had a couple of beers & cocktails in the airport. Said farewell to CF (who was travelling back on a different airline) and went for our respective flights.
All agreed that this was a tremendous surf trip. The North Shore provides for a truly humbling experience at the same time as being inspiring, and luckily for us, has some fantastic people who guided us through our first taste of the seven mile miracle.
We have left out mark and will definitely return. Now for that 28 hour journey...
